Creepy people came into my house today.

Today was a big day for my little house in West Virginia. I woke up early to make pancakes for John and Jessica and I while we waited for the creepy installation technician from Dish Network to come and make my TV come to life. It was all-in-all a very strange experience, as our technician seemed to feel more comfortable in my house than I did while he was here. He grabbed a big ladder and climbed the side of my house, put up a satellite dish that, my homeowners association will love this, a person could barely see from the road. He came in and talked to us while he set up the TV. He told us way too much about his life which definitely crossed the line between interesting, friendly and a little bit weird.

Following the cable set up, we were visited by the UPS Freight employee who was dropping off wicker furniture for the sun room off my kitchen. He was lost about three or four minutes from my house and called me from a pay phone at Sheetz, asking for Kimberly. He found my place and dropped off a single box, opened the top and asked a bunch of questions that I didn't quite understand, discussed the current weather and left me with a box bigger than I am, filled with wicker furniture. I didn't know what to do, how to react or where to go from there.

It's okay now, though. We had dinner at the Blue Moon and I'm Christening my new TV service with margaritas (again) and some "What Not To Wear" and the first episode of the fourth season of "Weeds" (finally). More retail-land tomorrow and some sleeping in because I feel like I really need it.

Thanks for reading.
